Theodore “Theo” Wiggins’s journey is nothing but inspirational.
Theo’s life took a pivotal turn during a period of incarceration. While serving his time, he experienced a profound awakening, recognising the destructive path he was on and the impact it had not only on himself but also on his community and loved ones. Determined to break the cycle of violence and crime, Theo dedicated himself to personal growth, education, and rehabilitation.
Upon his release, Theo faced the daunting challenge of reintegrating into society as a reformed individual. Despite the numerous obstacles and stigmas he encountered, he remained steadfast in his commitment to change. Drawing from his own experiences and struggles, Theo envisioned a support system for individuals like himself – former inmates and gang members seeking redemption and a second chance at life.
With unwavering determination, Theo founded S.T.A.R.S, a nonprofit organisation aimed at providing comprehensive support and resources to new inmates and former gang members who have chosen to turn their lives around. S.T.A.R.S offers a holistic approach to rehabilitation, encompassing mentorship, counseling, job training, educational opportunities, and community outreach programs.
